This Remington manufactured first variation trigger guard is for the early model 12 slide action rimfire rifle which uses the early variation ejector spring and not the ejector plunger case assembly. This trigger guard is in very good condition exhibiting a brownish gray patina with scattered surface rust specks and light wear. (file photo)
